Body writing

I love the idea of body writing, and I love that Dominants encourage their submissives to become more body-positive. This is one of those things I genuinely love about BDSM dynamics.

All women have insecurities, no matter who they are. We have insecurities about our thighs, ass, breasts, or any other part of our body that we compare to other women. I know of women who will never be naked in front of their partners, women who will never wear shorts or a skirt because of how they think they look.

In the BDSM lifestyle, many submissives have body issues. We think we are either too tall or too short; we are either too skinny or too chunky. Again all women have issues with their bodies and how we perceive ourselves. These issues are often our issues; we believe these are things that are “wrong” with us.

We compare ourselves to shibari models, who look perfect tied up, not a lump in sight. Most riggers love bigger women, as the point of shibari is to have rope constriction; you want there to be parts that bulge when doing shibari; this is the art of shibari. Bigger women look better when they are rope bunnies.

I have come across many dominants that write body-positive words on their submissives, and they write on their submissives what body parts they love about them and what they love about them. Body writing is hugely beneficial in any relationship; it helps your partner become more positive and confident in who they are. Dominants always want their submissives to be comfortable and confident in who they are.

There is nothing sexier in this world than a confident woman; body writing will help you accept who you are and help you start loving yourself.

You can use many pens for body writing that are safe, non-toxic, and hypoallergic; however, my favorite is face paint as you can go crazy and draw or write in different colors; I enjoy it the most. If you want something that lasts a bit longer, liquid eyeliner is also a perfect body marker, and it will stay on for hours. You can use an eye makeup remover to remove it afterward.

Remember, your partner is with you for who you are; they choose You. They love your body and every part of you; that is why they are with You. Don’t let your insecurities ruin a relationship; you are worthy of love.

Get a body pen, start writing on yourself, write on your favorite body part and write what you love about yourself. When you are done, look at your work in the mirror. Appreciate yourself and your body. We are all unique in our own way, be you!
